Good Nebulization Practice
We are dedicated to propagate judicious use of nebulization therapy and standardize nebulization practice amongst doctors, paramedics, patients and caregivers in the pursuit of caring for life. Our vision is to ensure there are zero Asthma & COPD related deaths.
Nebulization is the process of transforming liquid medications into a fine spray or mist, which can be carried into the respiratory system through inhalation. Nebulizers can convert a liquid drug mixture into a fine mist or aerosol, thereby making it directly available for inhalation. Using a nebulizer requires minimal co-ordination for inhalation and it does not need manual actuation.
When it comes to caring for life, we believe in
Sharing of nebulization accessories like facemask and mouthpiece is an unhygienic practice with a high-risk potential of spreading infection, and using your own personal mask or mouthpiece reduces this risk of infection. Therefore, we call on every healthcare professional to propagate judicious use of nebulization therapy through adherence to Good Nebulization Practice at every step of treatment. We strongly believe that when it comes to Caring for Life, we believe in the propagation of Safe Nebulization Practice.
