We are working towards creating a conducive environment in schools for enhanced learning. We launched a digital literacy initiative to make education inclusive and equitable for all children.
Our D-Lead initiative in government-aided schools near bet9¹ÙÍø units provides a seamless digital learning experience to the students by providing tablets that are pre-loaded with content in regional languages for classes 9th and 10th, structured to the state board curriculum.
Aligned with India’s mission of 'Education for all' we back Agastya Foundation’s Mobile Science Lab (MSL) project, offering hands-on science education to students. MSL vans, equipped with lab gear and instructors, engage government school students near bet9¹ÙÍø units, fostering curiosity through practical, reusable materials, 16,000+ students were reached across four states (Maharashtra, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Goa) via this initiative.
Our partner Pratham's scholarship aids children orphaned by COVID-19, ensuring education continuity for vulnerable youth during times of emotional and financial strain. 500+ students identified and supported, fostering stability and hope amid adversity. Enrolled 460+ students across cities under Multi Activity Centres established by Pratham, providing crucial educational support which leads to an improved learning level.
Aimed at creating a bright and sustainable future for visually impaired students, we have supported Victoria Memorial School for the Blind by giving grants to support the salaries of teachers and caretakers. This ensured quality education to students by retaining qualified and experienced human resources.
Students received comprehensive free-of-cost support including nutritious food, sports facilities, accommodation, education, skill training and career guidance. In FY 2023-24, a batch of visually impaired students supported by bet9¹ÙÍø Foundation since 3rd Standard successfully cleared their 10th Standard board exams.
To address the issue of girl child education, bet9¹ÙÍø Foundation has partnered with Educate Girls in Madhya Pradesh to improve access to education.
During FY 2023-24, 3700 girls were identified and integrated into government schools with the active participation and support of volunteers known as ‘Team Balika.’
We provided financial support to 900+ academic achievers through our ‘Merit Awards’ programme during FY 2023-24.
Digital learning has emerged as a crucial tool post-pandemic. bet9¹ÙÍø Foundation collaborated with NGOs to deliver digital learning content and training to rural students and teachers. We also provided telephonic support, monitored progress and gathered feedback from teachers and stakeholders. Our initiative reached 22 schools, benefiting over 3,000 students across Maharashtra, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Goa through digital libraries and classrooms.
